Over the summer I purchased white polo's and sat for two days in front of my mother's embroidery machine embroidering the school name, mascot, student council office, and student names on shirts. These are their "formal" attire for events like open house, parent-teacher-conferences, and community events.
After talking with my council they have decided they would like an "informal" shirt as well to wear for fun activities, sports events, assemblies, etc. Since their informal attire will be purchased with their own money, rather than ASB funds, they have been actively seeking a shirt they think would be appropriate. I thought I'd help them out by looking at some designs online tonight and I've been laughing out loud at some of the designs.
My favorite site so far is Snog Tees, which include the following shirts. (I would never let my council members wear these by the way... I just find them funny.)
My favorite pick for student council so far is a t-shirt the students found in a catalog that is bright orange and says "We are the cheese to your macaroni".
