The last few weeks I have had a very full schedule with extra work to do, friend and family get-togethers, and a lot of house work to catch up on. This week I had another busy week planned so when two guys asked if I was available to meet for coffee I said yes despite the fact they both asked me about Monday. It worked out okay because one wanted to meet in the afternoon and the other in the evening.

Both men were highly educated and I enjoyed our conversation. We talked about a variety of things; books, music, movies, work, travel, college, campus Greek life, etc. I really enjoyed my time getting to know both of them and I’m getting less nervous with each date I go on. Unfortunately I’m thinking neither man is going to be interested in a second date... I had an Americano on the way to school, a cappuccino at break, another Americano on my first date, and a third Americano on my second date. By the end of the evening I was so hopped up on caffeine I was way out of character and rambling on about nothing at all, I’m sure the caffeine mania scared them off.

Oh, well… 4 down and 25 to go. I’m also thinking about adding “Go on two dates with two men in one day” to my list of 30 things to do before I’m 30, that would be one more thing I can check off.
